About Glen
I have done every job in PPE apart from working for a brand.
Eleven years in PPE. Ten of them inside UK test houses and certification bodies, running the tests, writing the instructions, assessing and certifying, and managing projects across testing and certification. Then a year on the commercial side. Now I prepare your documentation and manage it through testing and certification.
Why Trace exists
Brands kept asking for help. From inside, I could not give it.
Test houses and certification bodies have to stay independent. For ten years that meant a brand could ring me needing help with its documentation, and the most I could do was hand over a blank technical file.
Trace is the other side of that. You approve the decisions. I prepare the documentation and coordinate the test house and the certification body, with the preparation and checking done in writing before I review it.
