What this site currently uses
The Trace website does not run visitor analytics, load advertising trackers or use behavioural profiling. The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. The booking calendar and any enabled anti-bot service are described below, including their use of cookies or similar storage.
Hosting and security logs
The website host may create short-lived technical logs to deliver and protect the site. Those server logs are not cookies placed in your browser. Where they contain personal information, their use is covered by the privacy notice.
The anti-bot check on forms
Both forms on this site, the form on the booking page and the Field Notes sign-up in the footer of every page, carry a quiet server-side check that they were submitted by a person rather than a bot. This check sets no cookies. Where Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on a form, Turnstile may set its own cookies or similar storage to do the same job.
The embedded booking calendar
The booking page loads an inline scheduler from Cal.com so you can see availability and arrange a call without leaving the site. Your browser connects directly to Cal.com when that page loads.
Cal.com may use its own cookies or similar storage to operate the calendar, remember settings and complete the booking. Information you enter into the calendar is handled by Cal.com as described in its privacy policy. Trace does not use the embed for website analytics or advertising. This only runs on the booking page.
Links to other websites
This site links to external services, including Cal.com and the Information Commissioner’s Office. Those sites and applications may use their own cookies or storage after you choose to visit them. Trace does not control their settings, so check the policy provided by the relevant service.
If the site changes
If Trace introduces analytics, additional embedded third-party content or any other non-essential storage, this policy and, where required, a consent notice will be updated before those technologies are enabled. Where consent is required, non-essential technologies stay off unless you actively choose them.
